UNIT 4: WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?

Vocabulary:


a) Daily routines:

wake up, get up, have a shower, have a bath, get dressed, have breakfast, go to school, go home, have lunch, do homework, have tea, watch television, have dinner, go to bed.

b) The time:

o'clock/ quarter past/ half past/ quarter to/ ten past nine/ twenty to ten.

c) Food:

milk, cereal, bread, yoghurt, fruit, salad, chicken, fish, pasta, biscuit, sandwiches, cake, bacon, eggs, cherries, toast, jam, ham.

Sentences:

What's the time?
It's eight o'clock.
What time do you have breakfast?
At half past eight.
What time does he go to school?
(He goes to school) At quarter to nine.
Do you go home at two o'clock?
Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
Does she have tea at five o'clock?
Yes, she does.  /  No, she doesn't.
I usually do my homework at five o'clock.
I don't play football every day.
He/she doesn't watch TV at ten o'clock.
